Job Summary: 

Clarus is seeking a Sr. Manager – Customer Success where you'll own the success, performance, and evolution of a strategic partner success function and portfolio, with accountability for partner adoption, retention, growth outcomes, team capability and scalable partner success strategies and operating practices.  

This role may be remote or hybrid. Hybrid candidates may be based near Clarus on-site locations in New York, Chicago, or Boston. Some travel may be required for team meetings, customer visits, partner meetings, and industry events.

Main Responsibilities:     

  • Lead strategic partner engagements across a portfolio of high-value or technically complex partners, translating business goals into success plans with clear milestones, adoption measures, revenue growth outcomes, and scalable best practices. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Clarus technology use cases, integrations, analytics implementations, and data-driven workflows; independently diagnose partner needs and guide partners toward scalable solutions. 

  • Own ongoing portfolio health management, using engagement signals, CRM insights, partner feedback, and performance data to identify risk, prioritize interventions, drive retention and expansion opportunities, and inform scalable improvements to partner success programs. 

  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales by synthesizing partner insights and influencing strategic priorities, roadmap decisions, and go-to market effectiveness. 

  • Establish and continuously evolve the partner success operating model, including playbooks, enablement assets, operating rhythms, success metrics, and best practices that raise the capability of partners and internal teams beyond individual account execution. 

  • Lead, coach, and develop Partner Success team members, establishing performance expectations, building team capability, and driving organizational effectiveness. 

  • Establish team goals, operating metrics, and performance standards, using data-driven insights to guide resource allocation, prioritize investments, and improve partner success outcomes. 

  • Own partner enablement, adoption, and loyalty strategy across the partner success portfolio, ensuring effective execution through the Partner Success team.  

  • Establish portfolio health management frameworks, prioritize team interventions based on risk and opportunity, and ensure execution of action plans with measurable success criteria. 

  • Build success plans, executive-ready QBR materials, and partner growth narratives in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales. 

  • Use AI tools, CRM insights, and partner data to analyze trends, synthesize feedback, and produce scalable enablement content. 

  • Communicate partner themes to senior internal stakeholders in clear, actionable terms and influence improvements to partner experience, product readiness, and go-to-market execution. 

 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Advanced partner success, technical account management, channel enablement, or strategic account management experience in a technical or SaaS environment, including responsibility for complex cross-functional initiatives and strategic partner outcomes. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, set strategic priorities, drive cross-functional initiatives, and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholders and teams without direct authority. 

  • Strong executive communication, consultative discovery, and active listening skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, partner health metrics, relevant technology platforms, and data-informed success planning. 

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce executive-ready materials, partner narratives, and scalable enablement content. 

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members in a customer-facing, partner success, account management, or related environment. 

  • College degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience. 

 

 

Experience:   

  • 12+ years in partner success, channel enablement, technical account management, or strategic account management in SaaS or a technical business environment, preferably in human or veterinary health technology. 

  • Technically fluent and comfortable discussing data pipelines, APIs, data integrations, analytics workflows, and data warehouse architecture with partners who operate in these systems. 

  • Experience leading partner success programs, teams, or portfolios with accountability for adoption, retention, expansion, and measurable growth outcomes. 

  • Ability to use AI tools and data insights to identify trends, improve partner workflows, and create value for marketing, data, and operations teams. 

  • Strong ability to communicate across levels, adjusting register from data engineer to executive while maintaining clarity and credibility. 

  • MarTech, AdTech, InsurTech, HealthTech, or veterinary SaaS background preferred; experience across system integrator, technology, or channel partners is a plus.
