What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Open Card Operations, within our Corpay Payables organization. As the Senior Manager, Open Card Operations, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for assisting suppliers and customers with resolving and completing unprocessed payments, operational efficiency, and service excellence across our Open Card program. This leader will oversee day-to-day operations, workforce planning, talent development, automation initiatives, and performance management while ensuring the organization achieves growth, quality, and productivity objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with deep Accounts Payable and B2B payments expertise, a passion for process improvement and automation, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners. This individual will play a critical role in scaling operations, improving client experiences, and advancing strategic initiatives that support Corpay's continued growth.

You will report to the VP, Supplier and Payment Operations and regularly collaborate with Product Management, Client Success, Sales, Financial Operations, and Technology teams.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Operational Leadership
  • Lead and develop managers, supervisors and team members responsible for Open Card payment operations. Team members assist suppliers and customers with resolving and completing unprocessed payments.
  • Drive execution against key business objectives while maintaining exceptional service levels and operational quality.
  • Facilitate daily operational stand-ups to ensure alignment, accountability, and resolution of critical issues.
  • Serve as the operational subject matter expert (SME) for Open Card processes, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.


Workforce Planning & Capacity Management
  • Develop and maintain operational capacity models and workforce plans to support business growth and changing priorities.
  • Conduct regular gearing exercises, forecasting analyses, and resource planning activities to optimize team performance.
  • Monitor operational volumes, productivity trends, and service levels to ensure adequate staffing and efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations for organizational scaling and process improvements.


Automation & Process Improvement
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities that improve productivity, quality, and employee experience.
  • Lead initiatives focused on streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, and enhancing operational controls.
  • Partner with Product and Technology organizations to define and validate business requirements for automation solutions.
  • Utilize data and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts and measure outcomes.


Quality, Performance & Analytics
  • Develop and manage operational scorecards, KPI dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Establish measurable goals and performance expectations across teams.
  • Analyze operational data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reporting, including Monthly Operating Review (MOR) materials and business performance updates.
  • Ensure accountability through regular business reviews and performance discussions.


Talent Management & Team Development
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and career development planning with direct reports.
  • Lead recruitment efforts including requisition creation, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Build and execute training programs that improve employee readiness and accelerate performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Drive team performance through the administration of incentive programs, performance recognition activities, and ongoing employee engagement efforts.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Financial Operations, and Technology teams to improve resolving and completing unprocessed payments.
  • Support content validation activities and ensure operational readiness for new products, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Operations in cross-functional projects and executive discussions.
  • Influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations and operational expertise.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, B2B payments, supplier enablement, or payment operations.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience managing operational teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with workforce planning, capacity management, forecasting, and organizational scaling.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and automation initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced experience with operational metrics, scorecards, KPI development, and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred
  • Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, SaaS, or Accounts Payable Automation.
  • Knowledge of commercial card programs, supplier payment enablement, and card payment reconciliation processes.
  • Experience supporting Open Card programs or supplier payment adoption initiatives.
  • Experience with workflow automation and AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies.

At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $105,400 - $120,000.
