Pursuant to our location policy, this position is categorized as Field Based. We prefer the role is located near a large airport for ease of travel because this position requires travel across North America, up to 50% of the time. The national hiring base salary range for this position is $140,400 to $175,500. This position also offers a generous incentive plan. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Job Purpose/Overview

As Antech's Senior Manager, Imaging Medical Marketing & Education, you will lead the medical strategy that will help veterinarians understand how Antech's advanced imaging unlocks deeper insights and enables them to deliver more complete care - bridging the gap between image acquisition and clinical action. The Sr. Manager utilizes current medical protocols to promote best practice medicine incorporating the depth of Sound equipment, Antech Imaging Services, and Antech's Imaging Services Academy.

You will provide Imaging medical leadership and expert veterinary support and guidance to our Imaging customers and colleagues, serve as a trusted resource for both internal and external stakeholders, and provide support on special events, tradeshows, clinical trials with local veterinarians and marketing trials or research. You will also lead and define external imaging education, including leading Antech's Imaging Services Academy.

This role requires a strong background in veterinary medicine, expertise in Imaging equipment and services, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to advancing animal health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of medical education plans for Imaging customers to ensure their hospital teams are well-educated on Sound equipment, Antech Imaging Services, and Antech's Imaging Services Academy.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales and Corporate Accounts senior sales leaders to identify and prioritize strategic imperatives within customers to create mutual growth.
  • Partner with field-based colleagues (Regional PSVs, Diagnostic Sales Managers, Strategic Account Managers, etc.) to facilitate pull through of agreed upon strategies and tactics to enhance field execution and align on demand creation activities.
  • Create strong, collaborative relationships across all other Antech teams (Marketing, Sales, Medical, R&D, etc).
  • Focus on strategic planning in the following areas:
    • Expansion of Care through Innovation: integrate new technology (e.g., telemedicine, machine learning, diagnostics) into hospitals.
    • Operational Efficiency: streamline diagnostics and their interpretation to optimize care with current staffing levels.
    • Leadership of Antech's Imaging Services Academy, including growth plans and synergy with Antech's Sound and AIS product commercialization plans.
    • Sales Organization Strategic Approach, including:
      • Provide in-clinic customer facing technical and professional support with and for our sales Associates.
      • Support the sales organization in identifying and acquiring new Antech Imaging customers.
      • Support Antech Diagnostics in educating sales and customers on medical relevance of new and existing Imaging products and services
      • With sales leadership, Identify key clients for acquisition or growth and provide continuing education opportunities. May include "Lunch & Learns", small group education presentations, webinars or individual teleconference support.
      • Support and train the local sales teams to confidently represent best practice Imaging medicine
      • Collaborate and work with each Antech sales leader to develop strategies for medical support in territories targeted for penetration.
  • Provide expert input to Antech's training and marketing teams by reviewing and developing written materials, presentations, and educational content - consulting with Specialists where appropriate to ensure the highest clinical standards.
  • Manage customer questions providing medical and technical advice and addressing product applications
  • Technical knowledge of diagnostics to work independently using resources, literature, etc. to guide customers and sales teams
  • Attend trade shows to support Antech Imaging products and services


Education and Experience
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
  • At least five years' experience in clinical practice, academia, research or industry. Past clinical work with companion animals (dogs, cats, and horses) highly desired.
  • Strong preference for candidates with additional education and experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Strong preference for candidates with 2-5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Ability to execute strategies in a complex, multi-faceted environment.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills; team oriented.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Travel

Yes, the Associate will spend a significant portion of your time (~50%) meeting clients and attending industry events. This will require travel throughout North America and overnight stays. The remainder of your time will be working from a home office.
