PurposeThis position is the owner of the Distribution and Transmission Integrity Management Programs (DIMP/TIMP) across all gas utilities including the probabilistic risk model for DIMP, TIMP, and cross bore risks. This role will set collaborate with the gas utilities to set standards for integrity management, establish consistent processes and work flows for collecting, analyzing, and reporting integrity management related data, conducting annual reviews of the integrity management programs, updating integrity management manuals and training, and maintaining programs in conformance with federal and state pipeline safety regulations. The position will assume a liaison role with industry associations (AGA, NGA) and other gas utilities in the context of integrity management to ensure Liberty is developing and adopting an industry leading program.

Accountabilities- Interprets federal and state regulations related to pipeline integrity management requirements including Distribution and Transmission Integrity Management Programs (DIMP/TIMP)
- Leads the development of integrity management plans including metrics and reporting for all gas utilities and leads activities to update and revise the plans based on data collected
- Assists gas utilities by evaluating results of integrity management related inspections and formulating recommendations (e.g., ILI, Direct Assessments, Indirect Surveys, etc.)
- Leads the development of probability-based risk models for all gas assets
- Provides support to utilities to assess readiness for pipeline integrity management audits, and is onsite during pipeline integrity management audits
- Supports gas utilities in selecting third-party contractors for execution of integrity management related activities (e.g., ILI, Direct Assessments, Indirect Surveys, etc.)
- Establishes data collection standards and practices to support periodic reviews and updates to integrity management plans
- Establishes data workflows to support development and updates to the probabilistic-based risk models
- Leads the development of consistent reporting related to integrity management activities and results
- Provides budget recommendations and data to gas utilities regarding integrity management related activities
- Collaborates with other functional leaders in the gas technical services group to harmonize efforts related to integrity management, compliance, and pipeline safety management systems
Education and Experience- University - Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with integrity management within gas operations
- Strong understanding of federal and state pipeline safety regulations
- Effective communication and presentation skills
