Senior Manager, HR Service Delivery Change & Transformation Enablement

Role Definition:

The Senior Manager, HR Service Delivery Change & Transformation Enablement prepares HR teams, employees, managers, and business stakeholders for strategic initiatives and transformational changes sponsored by the HR Service Delivery organization. This role serves as the primary change management and stakeholder engagement leader across the HR Service Delivery portfolio, supporting initiatives within HR Service Delivery Hubs, Global Payroll, HR Policy & Compliance, and Workday Product Support.

The position partners with HR Service Delivery leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are successfully adopted through effective organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, readiness planning, and adoption strategies. The role helps ensure solutions are developed with input from key stakeholders, organizational impacts are identified and addressed, and business, HR, and employee communities are prepared to successfully transition to new ways of working.

This role serves as a critical bridge between HR Service Delivery functions and the HR and business organizations they support, helping drive alignment, readiness, adoption, and sustained business outcomes across the HR Service Delivery portfolio.

What You Will Do:

  • Across HR Service Delivery Hubs, Global Payroll, HR Policy & Compliance, and Workday Product Support, contribute to initiative planning to ensure stakeholders, readiness, and adoption considerations are incorporated early in the process.

  • Identify and map stakeholder groups impacted by HR Service Delivery initiatives, including HR leaders, HR Business Partners, people managers, employees, and business unit leadership teams.

  • Partner with business, HR, and HR Service Delivery leaders to identify stakeholder needs, gather feedback, and support the co-creation of solutions that balance business requirements, employee experience, compliance, and operational effectiveness. Ensure business-facing HR teams understand the scope, rationale, impact, and expected outcomes of HR Service Delivery initiatives.

  • Identify cross-functional dependencies, stakeholder impacts, and adoption risks across the HR Service Delivery portfolio and lead portfolio-level stakeholder governance across HR Service Delivery initiatives, ensuring stakeholders receive the right information at the right time while minimizing duplication, competing requests, and communication fatigue.

  • Prepare HR teams, managers, and employees for change by assessing impacts, identifying adoption risks, and developing plans that build understanding, readiness, and commitment.

  • Establish and monitor readiness and adoption metrics to measure organizational preparedness and business outcomes.

  • Support stabilization activities following implementation to reinforce desired behaviors and sustain adoption. Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement activities to strengthen future change initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain standards, frameworks, and best practices for HR Service Delivery change management and stakeholder engagement.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Change Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience leading organizational change, transformation initiatives, stakeholder engagement, or strategic business initiatives.

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Demonstrated success influencing leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong facilitation, consulting, and relationship management skills.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience within HR Service Delivery, Payroll, Shared Services, HR Technology, Compliance, or HR Operations environments.

  • Workday HCM experience.

  • Change Management or Project Management certification.

  • Experience supporting enterprise or global transformation initiatives.

  • Cross-Team Integration: Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.

  • Organizational Change Mgmt: Knowledge of techniques to successfully effect change in an organization and ability to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture, practices, structure, and overall organizational environment.

  • Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
