The
Sr Manager, HR Business Partner is a strategic advisor to the Power & Controls Aftermarket operations leadership team, guiding workforce strategies, organizational design, and culture. Partnering with P&C Aftermarket ops leaders, this role supports transformation and change initiatives to ensure workforce strategies are implemented and aligned with business priorities.
The HR Business Partner translates business and functional strategies into actionable HR solutions, enabling leaders to achieve their objectives while building workforce capability, engagement, and readiness.
The position will be located on-site in Windsor Locks, CT (Preferred), Rockford, IL, or Phoenix, AZ. What You Will Do:- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to aftermarket leadership, influencing workforce strategies to meet business objectives.
- Partner with leaders on talent planning, performance management, succession planning, and capability development
- Partner across the Collins HR team to drive collaborative solutions impacting the business beyond P&C Aftermarket.
- Transformation & Change Leadership
- Collaborate with HR CoEs and business leaders to support enterprise-wide transformation and change initiatives across the P&C Aftermarket.
- Drive adoption of new operating models, workforce strategies, and ways of working.
- Partner with Change Management teams and HR CoEs to design and execute change initiatives, including communications, training, and capability-building.
- Build organizational capability
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business environment to proactively address challenges & opportunities
- Operationalize strategies to meet current and future workforce needs in alignment with organizational priorities
- Offer insights & actionable recommendations to enhance leadership capabilities & team performance
- Support high-performing teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor and ambassador for business leadership & employees
- Provide HR counsel & expertise to optimize business process and performance
- Support leaders in building effective teams by facilitating team dynamics workshops, conflict resolution & collaboration practices
- Travel up to 20%
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Experience with stakeholder management, communication, and influencing.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
