Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Senior Financial manager 64 Global Service Finance will serve as a strategic finance business partner to leadership within our Global Service organizations. In this high-visibility role, you will lead the financial tracking, forecasting, and optimization of our post-sales service business unit. Your insights will directly impact service contract pricing, gross margin expansion, headcount scaling, and regional field infrastructure investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Close

  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecasting cycles, and strategic long-range planning for the global service organization.
  • Manage the month-end and quarter-end close process for service, including accurate expense reconciliations, warranty provisions, and labor capitalization accruals.
  • Build, maintain, and automate Service Revenue Forecast Models spanning time-and-materials billing, multi-year service agreements, and software upgrade extensions.

2. Operational Partnership & Gross Margin Optimization

  • Perform detailed Service Gross Margin Analysis across varying lines of business.
  • Partner with supply chain and operations to evaluate Cost of Service Allocation Models, identifying variances in spare part consumption, freight costs, and scrap.
  • Monitor global headcount utilization metrics, tracking productive hours vs. transit/idle time to guide regional hiring strategies and field efficiency metrics.

3. Advanced Analytics & Executive Reporting

  • Prepare data packages and presentation slides for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to present directly to division leadership.
  • Develop, scale, and automate data visualization dashboards via Power BI to trace operational KPIs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor 27s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA, CPA, or CMA is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or operations finance.
  • Prior experience working in a service finance or matrixed semiconductor or technology organization preferred.

Core Competencies

  • ERP Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience navigating Enterprise Resource Planning systems, specifically Oracle.
  • Hyperion / EPM Tools: Mastery in financial consolidation software like HFM.
  • Advanced Data Modeling: Expert-level Excel capabilities (ie Power Query) alongside structured data extraction experience (SQL or Power BI).
  • Business Acumen: Ability to connect field service data points (e.g., mean-time-to-repair, parts usage) to overall P&L realities.

Compensation & Growth

 Base Salary Range:

$148,000.00 - $222,000.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
