Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking aSenior Managerfor ourConstruction ConsultingPractice in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will work as part of a team which consults on large complex construction disputes.
You will be responsible for
- Growing our Construction Disputes business, with a focus on developing, expanding, and managing client relationships domestically and internationally
- Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and promoting Exponents diverse service offerings in collaboration with other consultants in the Construction Consulting Practice and across the firm
- Participating in the Companys Business Development initiatives
- Active participation in Industry and Trade Associations
- Project management
- Executing projects and delivering final work product to clients
- Recruiting, developing and mentoring staff in the Construction Consulting Practice
You will have the following skills and qualifications
- Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 15 + years of experience in project/construction management or construction consulting. Project site experience and good technical knowledge is desired
- Experience in construction claims, litigation services and construction consulting services are desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponents total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Manager level and above total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.
The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.
