Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Executive Compensation serves as a strategic partner to the Head of Executive Compensation and is responsible for the design, analysis, administration, governance, and communication of executive compensation programs across the organization. This highly visible role works closely with senior leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Tax, and external advisors to ensure executive compensation programs are competitive, performance-driven, aligned with shareholder interests, and compliant with applicable regulations and governance standards.

Reporting directly to the Head of Executive Compensation, this role plays a critical part in supporting executive compensation strategy, Compensation Committee activities, proxy disclosure preparation, and executive compensation-related projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the Head of Executive Compensation to develop, implement, and administer executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, equity compensation, deferred compensation, and executive benefits.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on executive compensation matters, providing analytical insights and recommendations to support compensation decisions for senior executives and key leadership talent.
  • Lead market benchmarking and competitive analyses using peer group and survey data to evaluate executive pay positioning and compensation program effectiveness.
  • Prepare executive compensation analyses and recommendations for annual compensation reviews, executive appointments, promotions, retention awards, and other compensation actions.
  • Support the planning and execution of Compensation Committee meetings, including development of board-quality materials, compensation analyses, presentations, and meeting follow-up activities.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Corporate Secretary, and external advisors on executive compensation governance, regulatory compliance, and shareholder considerations.
  • Support the preparation and review of executive compensation disclosures, including Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A), proxy statement tables, and other SEC reporting requirements.
  • Monitor external market trends, evolving governance practices, investor expectations, and regulatory developments affecting executive compensation.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models, compensation analyses, and executive-level presentations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics tools to improve productivity, streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and generate actionable compensation insights while maintaining appropriate governance and human oversight.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive compensation experience, including significant executive compensation experience within a large public company or executive compensation consulting environment.
  • Deep knowledge of executive compensation principles, incentive plan design, equity compensation, corporate governance, and executive compensation regulations.
  • Experience supporting Compensation Committees and preparing board-level materials and analyses.
  • Strong understanding of SEC executive compensation disclosure requirements and proxy statement preparation.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives and board members.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $156,100.00 and $260,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
