Reports ToDirector Business Transformation
What You Will Be DoingThis is a high-impact transformation role at the intersection of finance, technology, and supply chain - sitting within the CIO organisation and working in close partnership with ChargePoint's CFO, CAO, and Chief Manufacturing & Supply Chain Officer. You will own the strategy and execution for modernising ChargePoint's financial and supply chain systems, embedding AI-driven automation, and driving a step-change in how the business makes data-informed decisions.
This is not a maintenance role. You will be expected to challenge legacy processes, bring a forward-looking AI and automation perspective to our NetSuite ecosystem and broader finance stack, and translate technology possibilities into measurable business outcomes. The right person thinks like a product leader, operates with the credibility of a finance insider, and has the drive to build something lasting. For the right candidate, this role carries clear potential to grow in scope and responsibility as ChargePoint scales.
You will manage a small, high-calibre team - including NetSuite functional and technical administrators and Business Analysts - with the mandate to grow and evolve the team as the transformation programme matures.
Finance Systems Modernisation & AI Innovation- Own the Finance Technology Roadmap: Define and drive the multi-year strategy for ChargePoint's financial systems landscape - NetSuite at the core - aligning technology investment with CFO and CAO priorities.
- Embed AI & Automation: Identify and implement AI/ML-driven automation across financial close, reconciliation, AP/AR, and reporting - reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and accelerating the close cycle.
- Intelligent Close & Reconciliation: Lead the transformation of ChargePoint's financial close process - designing workflows that leverage automation, exception-based review, and real-time data to drive speed and confidence.
- AP/AR Process Innovation: Modernise accounts payable and receivable processes through automation and integration - improving cash flow visibility, reducing processing time, and strengthening controls.
- Enterprise Performance Management: Evolve EPM capabilities to give finance leadership timely, accurate, and actionable insight into business performance - integrating planning, forecasting, and reporting across the organisation.
- Evaluate & Integrate New Tools: Continuously assess the landscape of emerging finance technology - from AI-native close tools to advanced analytics platforms - and make build-vs-buy recommendations with clear ROI.
Supply Chain Finance Transformation- Bridge Finance & Supply Chain: Partner with the Chief Manufacturing & Supply Chain Officer to connect supply chain decisions to financial outcomes - inventory valuation, cost of goods, procurement analytics, and working capital visibility.
- Demand & Inventory Intelligence: Work with supply chain and finance teams to improve demand forecasting accuracy and inventory planning through better data, integration, and analytical tooling.
- Procurement & Vendor Analytics: Drive visibility into procurement spend, supplier performance, and contract compliance - surfacing insights that help the business make faster, better-informed sourcing decisions.
- Integrated Reporting: Build reporting and dashboards that give the CFO and CMSO a unified view of supply chain financial health - bridging the gap between operational and financial data.

- Supply Chain Literacy: Enough supply chain knowledge to connect operations decisions to financial outcomes - inventory, procurement, and COGS visibility
- Team Leadership: Experience managing and growing functional and technical teams - setting direction, building capability, delivering results
- Bias for Action: Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in a fast-moving environment and course-correcting quickly
