This role is based at our regional office in Miami, FL

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Architecture, Design & Construction team that delivers exceptional properties that delight our guests, reward our partners, and reflect the unique cultures of their geographical locations! As a Senior Manager Design on the CALA Architecture, Design & Construction team reporting to the Senior Director Architecture & Design CALA, you will work on projects across Hilton's Full Service, All-Inclusive, Lifestyle & Luxury brand portfolio, including both Franchised & Managed assets.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Lead and manage the design process for opportunities, pipeline, conversions, and large-scale renovation projects across the Hilton portfolio of Brands, in collaboration with internal partners, owners and external consultants.
  • Oversee all design deliverables from concept through project completion, ensuring alignment with brand requirements, design pillars, interior programming and layouts, budget, and project timelines.
  • Provide comprehensive technical design leadership through review of drawings, specifications, finishes, and shop drawings, ensuring quality and buildability from concept to execution.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive visual design briefs aligned with brand strategies and market opportunities, translating conceptual vision into cohesive design direction.
  • Drive creative leadership by strengthening Hilton's design strategy, offering alternative design solutions, and guiding teams towards strong Guest Environments & Brand Experiences.
  • Source innovative products, materials, and methodologies aligned with hospitality trends and ESG initiatives, and maintain strong industry relationships.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Serve as the primary design liaison between Hilton Stakeholders, Ownership, External Consultants, ensuring alignment on brand design narratives, brand standards, and strategic objectives while representing design priorities in key forums and providing project-specific solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to Brand Requirements, including the review of all design deliverables (narratives, renders, shop drawings, specifications, product selections, model rooms, installation) and value engineering of materials and finishes.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • Manage a substantial design pipeline portfolio Managed and Franchise Hotel and Resort projects, including Full Service, All-Inclusive, Lifestyle and Luxury Developments.
  • Take ownership of the Comprehensive Design Process, serving as the primary design contact for all current and future projects. Including regular deliverables reviews, presentations and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of professional experience.
  • Three (3) years of design experience as a design lead and/or design manager for hotel operator, ownership group, or Interior Designer at a firm specializing in hospitality.
  • Experience in delivery of hospitality environments.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Bluebeam or similar PDF Review Software.
  • Authorized to work in US.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Travel up to 60% throughout the Caribbean & Latin American Region.

It would be useful if you have:
  • University Degree in Architecture or Design.
  • Experience to develop impactful, visually engaging presentations and present them to influence and inform stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and owners.
  • Experience working in multicultural or international settings.

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
