Position Summary...What you'll do...Join Walmart as a Senior Manager, Corporate Development and M&A, and play a key role in driving the company's inorganic growth strategy. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work on transformative deals across Walmart U.S., Sam's Club, and Walmart International. You'll gain significant exposure to senior leaders and have strong potential for career progression within the company.
What you'll do...- Engage with Walmart business leaders to develop M&A strategy, identify and assess potential inorganic growth opportunities, and build consensus.
- Develop and manage relationships with investment banking, private equity, and venture capital investors in retail, digital media, supply chain, and emerging technologies.
- Lead all transaction-related financial modeling and valuation analysis to support deal execution.
- Manage the diligence process by partnering with internal teams (legal, accounting, tax) and external advisors.
- Build presentations for senior leadership that convey effective narratives, outline strategic trade-offs, and drive executive decision-making.
- Support the Integration/Separation team on post-close planning and execution.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with a strong track record in M&A execution.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to analyze complex transactions and present clear recommendations.
- Strong relationship management skills, with experience engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of building compelling narratives for senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on driving results and supporting team success.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
