The Senior Manager will serve as a trusted partner to Finance, Accounting, Technology, and executive stakeholders while leading a team of business analysts and coordinating internal technical resources, software vendors, and implementation partners. The successful candidate combines strong finance-process knowledge, ERP delivery experience, people leadership, and the judgment to balance transformation objectives with system stability, controls, and operational needs. This position will report to the Senior Director of Business Analysis and will own the Finance Systems business analysis practice, including portfolio planning, solution governance, delivery standards, talent development, and stakeholder engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES • ERP and finance systems strategy. Own and maintain the multi-year roadmap for Oracle Fusion and related finance applications, aligning investments, releases, and enhancements with business priorities and the broader technology strategy. • Business partnership. Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to understand strategic objectives, pain points, regulatory requirements, and growth needs; convert them into clear business capabilities, priorities, and measurable outcomes. • Oracle Fusion delivery. Lead the business analysis and functional delivery of Oracle Fusion implementations, module deployments, upgrades, and optimization initiatives from discovery through stabilization and continuous improvement. • Program leadership. Provide direction across requirements, process design, fit-gap analysis, solution decisions, data conversion, integrations, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and post-production support. • Team leadership. Hire, coach, and develop business analysts; set clear objectives, allocate work, establish quality standards, and build succession and capability plans for the function. • Process design. Drive standardized, scalable finance processes while identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, shared services, and improved system adoption. • Governance and prioritization. Establish intake, estimation, prioritization, decision, and change-control practices for the finance systems portfolio; communicate tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and status to senior stakeholders. • Controls and compliance. Ensure solutions support SOX, segregation of duties, auditability, financial controls, data privacy, and applicable accounting or regulatory requirements in partnership with Finance, Internal Audit, Security, and Compliance. • Data and reporting. Promote strong data governance and reconciliation practices across source systems, Oracle Fusion, consolidation, planning, tax, treasury, and business intelligence platforms; improve the reliability and usability of finance data. • Oversee functional requirements and controls for APIs, middleware, interfaces, and master-data flows between ERP and banking, procurement, tax, payroll, commerce, inventory, planning, and reporting systems. • Testing and release readiness. Set standards for test strategy, traceability, defect management, user acceptance testing, regression testing, documentation, training, deployment, and operational handoff. • Partner and vendor management. Direct external consulting and system-integration partners, including scope, deliverables, budget, quality, knowledge transfer, issue escalation, and accountability for outcomes. • Operational excellence. Establish service metrics and recurring reviews for application health, support demand, enhancement throughput, data quality, and user adoption; sponsor root-cause resolution for material incidents. • Executive communication. Prepare concise recommendations, steering-committee materials, roadmaps, investment cases, and risk updates for Finance and Technology leadership. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Eight or more years of progressive experience in business analysis, ERP delivery, finance systems, enterprise applications, or technology-enabled finance transformation. • Three or more years of experience leading people, workstreams, programs, or a business analysis function in a complex, cross-functional environment. • Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting a major ERP platform and related financial applications across multiple phases of the system lifecycle. • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end Accounting and Finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, close and consolidation, intercompany, procurement, tax, and financial reporting. • Experience leading requirements definition, process design, fit-gap analysis, solution evaluation, testing, data conversion, integrations, change management, training, and production support. • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, master data, data governance, reconciliation, and reporting dependencies. • Working knowledge of SOX, segregation of duties, internal controls, audit requirements, and controlled change-management practices. • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, facilitate decisions, manage competing priorities, and communicate complex topics clearly to business and technical audiences. • Strong financial acumen, analytical judgment, organization, and attention to detail, with a record of delivering reliable results in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED • Oracle Fusion. Hands-on leadership experience implementing, expanding, upgrading, or optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly Financials and related modules. • Experience working with RSM as an Oracle implementation, managed-services, or advisory partner; comparable experience managing a major consulting or system-integration firm will also be considered. • Experience leading a global or multi-entity finance transformation, including chart-of-accounts design, intercompany processes, consolidations, close, reporting, or shared-service operating models. • MBA, CPA, CMA, PMP, CBAP, Oracle certification, or relevant process-improvement certification. • Automation and analytics.
