Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Biosurgery Innovation - Global Strategic Marketing. In this highly strategic role, you will lead key new product development projects for the Biosurgery platform in close partnership with key cross-functional partners, helping translate meaningful customer needs and market opportunities into differentiated solutions that improve patient care and create sustainable growth.

The leader in this role will provide strategic marketing leadership across the innovation lifecycle, from opportunity identification and concept development through business-case creation, stage-gate advancement, launch readiness, and lifecycle planning. The successful candidate will combine customer and market insight, strong business acumen, and collaborative leadership to align global and regional stakeholders and advance a robust, value-creating Biosurgery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global strategic marketing activities for Biosurgery new product development programs, establishing clear opportunity areas, product strategies, value propositions, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by designing and leading market research, identifying unmet needs, and translating insights into customer requirements and differentiated product concepts.
  • Partner with Global Strategic Insights, R&D, Project Management, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, HEMA, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Development, regional marketing, and commercial teams to advance programs through the innovation and stage-gate process.
  • Develop robust business cases, including market sizing, segmentation, competitive assessment, pricing, revenue forecasts, investment requirements, key risks, and value-creation potential.
  • Lead product positioning, claims strategy, target product profile development, and global launch planning to ensure solutions address priority customer needs and achieve meaningful clinical and economic differentiation.
  • Build relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, health-system stakeholders, and key opinion leaders to shape product development and strengthen market understanding.
  • Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional core teams, align stakeholders around decisions and priorities, and proactively identify and resolve barriers to program progress.
  • Monitor market, customer, competitor, clinical, and technology trends to identify emerging opportunities to inform the Biosurgery innovation strategy and portfolio roadmap.
  • Communicate strategies, recommendations, risks, and program updates to senior leaders with clarity, credibility, and a strong enterprise perspective.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, product management, new product development, or a related discipline within MedTech or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover customer unmet needs and translate market insights into product strategy, customer requirements, and actionable development priorities.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience developing market assessments, forecasts, business cases, and portfolio recommendations.
  • Ability to synthesize clinical, technical, customer, and commercial information and communicate clear strategic direction amid ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across functions, regions, and levels of the organization.
  • Learning agility and intellectual curiosity to develop depth of expertise in understanding surgical jobs and associated clinical unmet needs across a broad range of specialties
  • Growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo while making thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
