Job Summary:- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Technical Lead Architect with 17 years of hands-on experience in designing developing modernizing and supporting enterprise scale Mainframe applications The candidate will provide technical leadership drive solution architecture engage directly with client stakeholders and lead global delivery teams
- The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in COBOL JCL DB2 CICS VSAM and Mainframe Utilities along with strong experience in production support application modernization and largescale transformation initiatives Experience in the Insurance Financial Services or Banking domain is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end delivery of Mainframe development enhancement modernization and support initiatives
- Define technical architecture and solution design for enterprise mainframe applications
- Work closely with business stakeholder's architects and client leadership teams to understand business requirements and propose solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and support teams
- Drive application performance optimization capacity planning and scalability improvements
- Lead code reviews design reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
- Manage complex production incidents root cause analysis and preventive actions
- Support migration and modernization initiatives involving Mainframe integration with distributed systems and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with Agile teams for sprint planning estimations and delivery execution
- Ensure compliance with security regulatory and organizational standards
- Prepare technical documentation architecture diagrams and executive level status reports
- Coordinate with offshore and onsite teams to ensure seamless project execution
