We're looking for a Senior AI and Machine Learning Engineer to help design, build, and optimize our AI and ML delivery platform. This role sits at the center of our AI strategy and focuses on developing autonomous agentic systems, improving model performance, and partnering with cross functional teams to bring AI driven capabilities into production. You'll influence the next generation of Entrata's products and work with emerging technologies in a high impact environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy agentic AI systems that operate autonomously or semi autonomously, including goal driven agents capable of planning, learning, and adapting safely over time
  • Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Research, design, and deliver AI applications and algorithms that solve complex business problems
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure quality, safety, and alignment with business requirements
  • Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to scope, build, and integrate AI solutions
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze data to extract insights that inform AI development
  • Stay current on AI research and identify opportunities to apply new technologies to Entrata products


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of core software development experience
  • 1 to 2 years of operational experience
  • 3 or more years of experience building AI solutions
  • Strong Python proficiency and solid software engineering fundamentals
  • Strong AWS experience across ECS or EC2, SageMaker, Bedrock, and Lambda
  • Experience with RAG, agentic workflows, LangGraph, prompt tuning, and evaluation
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with Terraform Cloud or other infrastructure as code tools
  • Experience integrating AI components into production systems


$144,000 - $233,100 a year

This band covers the full salary range for the role. Your offer within this range will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity.
