Full Job Description
ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to work in Patuxent River, MD supporting PMA-271 program office in Propulsion and Power.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs
  • Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses
  • Assist the A/V and P&P DAPML and the PMA 271 scheduling team in establishing a long-term sustainment plan schedule
  • Utilize the CDRL Tool and AMS to review and provide comments on CDRLs required
  • Provide recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics elements requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs
  • Provide recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities
  • Provide recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and TOC Management Plans
  • Provide recommendations for the review and development of Maintenance Plans/Logistics Support Analysis (MP/LSA) records, maintenance tasks and Level of Repair Analysis recommendations


Required Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems and experience in aviation depot, MRO, or manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • Additional 4 years of experience of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems performing any of the following: LORA, Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Life Cycle Costing experience


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance
