Leidos is seeking a
Senior Logistics Analyst to join the NASA NEST team!
The center Senior Logistics Analyst, under the direction of the local center Logistics Manager, will assist in overseeing and supporting the local center NASA End-user Services & Technologies (NEST) logistics team in support of the overall NEST Enterprise Logistics management plan and direction.
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring, under the direction of the Logistic Manager, the timely and accurate management of IT equipment and approved Enterprise initiatives that directly support logistical warehouse operations within the NEST program. Examples of such equipment will include laptops, desktops, peripherals, and all other IT equipment that is orderable on the approved NASA catalog. The timeliness and accuracy referred to in this description is key to successful execution of this position and necessary for continued employment. This requisition will be used to hire Senior Logistics Analyst for all NASA centers as deemed necessary. This position will require the ability to unpack, pick up, and carry packages and materials up to 40lbs.
The candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and provide effective communication supported by a philosophy of continuous improvement and adherence to standardized work processes. Has a comfort level in developing training or process documents and training staff.
Primary Responsibilities:- Must review and ensure inventory accuracy daily.
- Ensure timely and accurate transactional updates in Costpoint and reconciliation of variances in the inventory system of record, etc.
- Ensures that CostPoint and ServiceNow are accurately updated within the prescribed timeframes of the program.
- Work with the local center Logistics Manager, the Enterprise Logistics Manager, or whoever program management prescribes, to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and/or reported in a timely manner.
- Work directly with the local center Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with prescribed contract Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Provide on-going monitoring of material distribution and stock levels to ensure the safe and efficient flow of devices, orders, and peripheral assets.
- Must ensure Enterprise initiatives, current and future, are supported and executed at the local center.
- Responsibilities will include building, coaching, mentoring, and observing the performance of the Logistics Team under the direction of the Logistics Manager.
- Includes updates to service now tasks to ensure compliance with SLA requirements.
- Oversee and maintain the preparation, or delegation of, package shipments via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and any other carriers.
- Oversee and maintain the Quality control of system documentation packing slips, invoices, material costs and transactions.
- Oversee and assist with the turn-in, repair, and relocation of equipment.
Please Note: This is an onsite role in Houston, TX. Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR the years of direct demonstrated experience to meet the requirements of the position maybe considered/accepted in lieu of degree.

- CostPoint or other ERP Logistics/Inventory management software experience is a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and meet demanding timelines is a must for successfully executing the requirements for this position.
- Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 40lbs.
- Current Driver's License.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:- ServiceNow experience is a plus.
Please note: The program budget for this role is expected to fall between approximately high $70,000 to low/mid $80,000 with a slight wiggle room (
no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment. Pay Range:Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
