Experience of leading a DevOps or SRE team in a matrix-managed environment This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes - including highly-available globally-distributed systems Keen understanding of financial control and budget management Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages - very high level of java skill is required including advanced data structures and algorithms Ability to initiate and drive relationships across teams and to independently represent your team in discussions with senior stakeholders Experience of leading a DevOps or SRE team in a matrix-managed environment Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality • Experience of architecting and building system-to-system integration across API boundaries Experience of developing Web APIs for consumption by multiple external systems Experience with graph databases such as neo4j or strong object/relational database experience is required Experience of model-driven or API-first development Understanding of distributed identity and access management solutions such as oAuth2/OIDC and/or XACML would be advantageous Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka is desirable
