Job Description

The Senior Lead Principal Gift Officer provides strategic leadership in managing a portfolio of highly qualified principal gift prospects and donors with the capacity to make gifts of $10 million or more. This role leads the development and execution of highly personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to secure transformational philanthropic support for Texas Children's.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of principal gift prospects and donors, building meaningful, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure principal gifts of $10 million or more.
  • Partner with senior clinical and administrative leaders to identify philanthropic priorities and align donor interests with organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Major Gifts Officers, campaign volunteers, and philanthropy leadership to maximize fundraising opportunities.
  • Lead prospect strategy, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Develop strong engagement strategies for fundraising volunteers and organizational partners.
  • Maintain accurate donor and prospect information, activity, and moves management in fundraising systems.
  • Contribute to priority fundraising events, initiatives, communications, and other Office of Philanthropy activities.
