This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Senior Lead Environmental Scientist to support our Connecticut operations, in our Glastonbury and Shelton, CT offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact
  • Prepare environmental work plans and manage projects through completion, on time and budget
  • Manage existing clients and develop new business
  • Supervise, mentor and train junior staff
  • Data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action


Who You Are

Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
  • CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional
  • Minimum 10 years experience working as a Connecticut environmental consultant with strong understanding of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Essential professional licensure/certification.
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred.
  • Water supply development and permitting experience are not required, but a plus
  • Proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS software is a plus.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $109,200 - $145,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
