What You Will Do:

The Senior Knowledge Management Consultant will lead support for the client's PMO in knowledge management, primarily with MS SharePoint. The ideal candidate is a highly organized communicator with strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail with experience in project management, knowledge management, communications management, and operational process improvement. This role requires proactive and engaged thinking to address emergent leadership needs, understanding of the nuances of PMO workflows, and an ability to interpret requirements to implement knowledge management solutions. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic guidance, governance frameworks, repeatable processes, and standard operating procedures (SOP) that enhance the client’s organizational effectiveness, improve operational maturity, and drive automation where appropriate.

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the client’s initiatives, leveraging project management best practices to improve delivery, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and operational outcomes.

  • Lead the modernization, administration, and continuous enhancement of the client’s SharePoint environments and collaboration platforms. Collaborate with client leadership and branch stakeholders to gather requirements, implement improvements, and optimize user experience and information accessibility.

  • Develop and execute knowledge management strategies that strengthen information sharing, institutional knowledge retention, and organizational effectiveness across the agency. Collaborate with team members to establish governance practices to ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and sustainability.

  • Facilitate stakeholder requirements gathering, document business and technical needs, develop user stories and use cases, and translate requirements into actionable solutions that support mission objectives.

  • Design, develop, and maintain centralized repositories for organizational documents, project artifacts, planning materials, leadership products, and operational resources to ensure efficient access and retrieval.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison to client leadership, branch chiefs, and key stakeholders to identify priorities, understand evolving requirements, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.

  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and collaboration forums that promote best practices, lessons learned, and alignment across JCDC divisions, branches, and workstreams.

  • Establish and maintain standards, governance processes, and best practices for knowledge management and project management tools, including SharePoint, Jira/Maestro/Confluence, ServiceNow, and other collaboration platforms.

  • Conduct research on policies, best practices, technical standards, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and mission support.

  • Maintain organizational taxonomies, glossaries, contact directories, metadata structures, and documentation standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and discoverability of information assets.

  • Develop user guides, training materials, and adoption strategies to increase stakeholder engagement and maximize the effectiveness of knowledge management tools and processes.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality briefing materials, leadership reporting products, onboarding resources, executive presentations, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement materials.

  • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to streamline operations through workflow development, automation solutions, and process optimization initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • FIVE (5) or more years' experience in consulting, program management, knowledge management, stakeholder engagement, or a related advisory role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear messaging for audiences.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Strong capabilities in SharePoint, Jira/Maestro/Confluence, ServiceNow, and other collaboration platforms

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, writing, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Understanding the differing roles, authorities, governance structures, and operating environments in CISA.

  • Experience leading complex knowledge management environments

  • Proven track record in change management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
