Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a Senior Java Engineer - AVP, you should have:
- Considerable Java programming experience, including Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies
- Knowledge in Kafka architecture, including cluster design, performance tuning, and security
- Demonstrated experience with Kafka Streams and/or Flink to build end-to-end real-time data pipelines
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, including containerization and Docker-based deployments
Other highly valued skills include:
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL
- Capability in with React
- Ample communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge and hands on experience with Databricks

Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary; $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
