Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive information security experience.
  • Prefer at least 4 years of experience in financial services, banking, or mortgage industry.
  • Must possess at least two cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200).
  • Demonstrated experience administering enterprise Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent SIEM platforms.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency with Microsoft 365 security administration, endpoint security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
  • Familiarity with GLBA, FTC Safeguards Rule, FTC Red Flags Rule, Fannie Mae requirements, and security frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Controls preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles, operating system security, cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, PowerShell, KQL, security automation, and vulnerability management practices.
  • Experience conducting security investigations, incident response activities, vulnerability remediation, access reviews, and security control implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively during security incidents, and maintain a high degree of professionalism when handling confidential information.


What your day will look like

The Senior IT Security Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Equity Resources' cybersecurity program. This role serves as the technical lead for security operations, Microsoft 365 security, identity and access management, data protection, AI governance, vulnerability management, incident response, and enterprise network security while partnering with business stakeholders to protect company and customer information.
