Full Job Description
Pennant Services is seeking an experienced, Senior Intune Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise endpoint platforms. This role is responsible for the strategy, deployment, and lifecycle management of endpoint solutions including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chromebooks, and virtual desktops (Azure Virtual Desktop). This role will partner closely with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and consistent end-user experiences, while driving continuous improvement in processes that support modern, scalable, and service-oriented IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint Engineering
  • Design, implement, and optimize endpoint solutions across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chromebooks, and AVD
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Application teams) to align solutions and priorities
  • Define and promote technical standards, best practices, and architecture patterns for EUC platforms
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint, workspace, and virtual desktop issues


Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve EUC operational processes and best practices
  • Establish clear documentation for endpoint configurations, policies, troubleshooting, and operational workflows
  • Drive automation, policy-based management, and self-service capabilities to improve scalability and efficiency
  • Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives
  • Ensure processes support reliability, security, compliance, and a consistent end-user experience


Systems, Access & Security
  • Own endpoint platform architecture and configuration standards across Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Chromebooks, AVD
  • Lead implementation and optimization of Microsoft Intune and Azure services
  • Partner with Security teams to enforce endpoint security controls, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles
  • Ensure endpoint configurations meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor endpoint health, compliance posture, and platform performance


End-User Support & Onboarding
  • Ensure endpoint platforms are optimized to support smooth user onboarding and productivity from day one
  • Collaborate with IT support teams to improve end-user experience and reduce friction during device setup and use
  • Support consistent configuration and readiness standards for new users, roles, and locations
  • Gather and incorporate end-user feedback to improve usability and service quality
  • Align device and workspace solutions to evolving workforce and operational needs


Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in End User Computing, endpoint engineering, or IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting distributed, multi-site, or remote environments
  • Deep knowledge of endpoint platforms: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chromebooks, and virtual desktop environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Azure services
  • Experience supporting onboarding, access readiness, and user lifecycle processes in regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve technical standards and operational processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations or other highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Zero Trust principles)
  • Track record of driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within endpoint or workplace teams
