We9re looking for a Senior International Technical Business Development Manager, Global Carrier Commercials to own the end-to-end commercial strategy for air carrier partnerships. This is a strategy owner role - you9ll define the approach, drive the economics of new air products, architect competitive sourcing processes, and lead large-scale negotiations directly.

You will work at the intersection of aviation, logistics, and commercial strategy - turning opportunities into flyable capacity. You9ll own RFPs end-to-end, lead carrier evaluation and selection, and present investment recommendations to senior level leadership that inform multi-million-dollar sourcing decisions. You will influence senior leaders across Amazon Air, drive org-wide mechanisms, and own a regional trade lane portfolio with direct accountability for carrier spend.

Key job responsibilities

- Define the carrier sourcing strategy, identifying potential new airline partners and capacity opportunities

- Cultivate senior executive-level relationships with airline commercial, cargo, and leadership teams, representing Amazon Air in strategic discussions

- Lead cross-functional alignment with Network Planning, Finance, Legal, Operations, and internal Amazon divisions and drive consensus on commercial priorities to ensure strategies align with capacity needs and demand signals

- Own the investment thesis for new international air products, presenting recommendations to senior level leadership, supported by data and financial modeling

- Architect and own end-to-end competitive sourcing processes - defining evaluation frameworks, drafting requirements, issuing documents, evaluating responses, and presenting recommendations

- Drive commercial modeling rigor including ACMI and charter pricing structures, fuel pass-through mechanisms, utilization scenarios, and total cost-to-serve across multiple route options

- Lead carrier evaluation and selection on commercial terms, operational capability, fleet suitability, and risk profile with trade-off recommendations

- Lead negotiations directly on complex, high-value agreements - developing strategies, term-sheets, and supporting analysis

- Own the development of scalable BD mechanisms, playbooks, and tools across the Global Carrier Commercials team
