Job Description
Monitors and oversees the interior design portfolio across the organization. Creates and maintain Design Standards to conform to system branding and image. Organizes and helps create the enhancement of the function, safety, and aesthetics of all interior spaces.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitors external consultants for interior design finishes, concepts, and deliverables; reviews furniture orders, status, and any issues impacting schedules.
  • Meets with manufacturers' representatives; assists with the negotiations with manufacturers.
  • Reviews and approves furniture quotes for all in-house projects; creates and maintains interior design and finish standards.
  • Selects color palettes for different health care environments relating to color, texture, furniture, lighting and spaces in relation to special needs such as psych, pediatric, geriatric etc.
  • Oversees the creation and continuous development of standards for organization including: interior architectural finishes, furniture standards and material finishes, and medical equipment finishes.
  • Reviews the selection of artwork; works with system staff to design in-house projects to meet system standards.
  • Reviews selection of products with the leadership prior to implementation; ensures design specifications have been met including punch list items and post occupancy surveys.
  • Meets with end-users to presents furniture and finish options and provide finish boards.
  • Assists project team with the coordination of purchasing to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Reviews shop drawings and approves submittals for in-house project.
  • Maintains library with current products for Healthcare and Corporate Environments.
  • Reviews re-selection of products/materials when they have been discontinued..
  • Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification
