The Opportunity:
Excellent opportunity to provide support to National Reconnaissance Office. The Historical Programs Team provides support to the full range of activities necessary to administer NRO's mandatory and discretionary Information Review and Release programs in accordance with federal laws and regulations, as well as NRO guidance, policies, directives, instructions, standard procedures and any other applicable documentation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct records searches and perform thorough multilevel document reviews, apply precise redactions using electronic and manual methods, process, and coordinate responses for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Prepublication Reviews to ensure sensitive information is properly protected.
Perform thorough assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy, and to prepare/maintain all case or project administrative files and other documentation, to include all correspondence and tasks.
Administer both mandatory and discretionary information review programs in accordance with federal laws, regulations, and client-specific policies.
Prepare final release packages for Government signature.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and 5+ years of IC related experience.
Demonstrated competency in performing complex administrative and analytic tasks.
Experience with NRO TIER system
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, and specialized review platforms).
Experience with SharePoint, AdobePro/Redax, Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) and CADRE/HighView and HP-Records Manager.
Desired:
Comprehensive knowledge of information governance frameworks including FOIA, PA, Prepublication Review, Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR), and Executive Order (EO) 13526.
Experience with classified information handling and reviewing procedures.
Knowledge of intelligence community (IC) structures and information sharing protocols.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
Receptive to constructive feedback from team leads with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Demonstrates knowledge of federal information governance regulations.
Advanced knowledge of classification and declassification methodologies by having the ability to properly identify equities, treat with the appropriate redaction codes, and make recommendations for additional referrals or consultations when necessary.
Consistent record of delivering precise, high-quality work within strict deadlines, and willing to perform ad hoc duties as needed.
Strong critical thinking, research, and problem solving/analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task; adaptation to changes and flexibility is a must.
Able to perform multilevel document reviews.
