Become a part of our caring community

The Senior Informaticist role is designed for individuals who consistently take ownership of ambiguous, high-impact business problems and deliver practical, analytically grounded solutions. Deep healthcare domain expertise is valuable, but we place equal emphasis on structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to create clarity when no established answer exists.
Your success requires intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and the ability to navigate imperfect information. You have demonstrated ownership of difficult problems, translating ambiguity into applicable solutions while building trust and understanding across stakeholders.

Job Description:

The Senior Informaticist serves as a strategic problem solver who partners across business, operations, technology, and analytics teams to address complex and often ambiguous challenges. You will identify opportunities, framing problems, evaluating alternatives, and delivering grounded recommendations that guide measurable outcomes. Success requires the ability to create clarity in uncertain situations, balance competing priorities, and develop practical solutions when perfect information is not available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead complex, projects with accountability for outcomes, from problem identification through recommendation, implementation, and measurement of results.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and applicable recommendations.
  • Synthesize information from multiple data sources, partners, and operational processes to identify causes and solution opportunities.
  • Communicate complex findings, assumptions, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Develop analytical frameworks, business cases, and decision-support tools that promote informed and transparent decision-making.
  • Influence business strategy and operational priorities through evidence-based insights and thoughtful evaluation of alternatives.
  • Take ownership of projects, independently determining goals, approaches, stakeholder engagement plans, and deliverables.
  • Improve performance by identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and driving sustainable solutions.

We are looking for exceptional critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to connect data, business context, and stakeholder needs to provide practical solutions with meaningful organizational and financial impact. You are comfortable operating in environments where the problem is not fully defined, the data is imperfect, and there is no established playbook for success.
