Job Summary
The Senior Infor XA / MAPICS Developer will provide application development, support, troubleshooting, and enhancement services for Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) within a manufacturing environment. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with IBM iSeries/AS400 Power Systems, RPGLE, RPG, CL, Web Services integrations, and Infor ION. The developer will support ERP solutions, integrate business systems, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions aligned with manufacturing business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) applications.
• Develop and maintain applications on IBM iSeries/AS400 Power Systems.
• Perform RPGLE, RPG, and CL development and troubleshooting.
• Develop and support Web Services integrations using RPGXML.
• Design, implement, and support integrations using Infor ION.
• Analyze and resolve complex ERP application issues and production problems.
• Support application enhancements and technical changes within ERP environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Support manufacturing-related business processes and ERP functionality.
• Maintain effective technical communication and stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in application development and support.
• Strong expertise with Infor ERP XA (MAPICS).
• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM iSeries/AS400 Power Systems.
• Advanced proficiency in RPGLE, RPG, and CL (Command Language) development.
• Experience developing and supporting Web Services integrations using RPGXML.
• Hands-on experience with Infor ION integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, development, and enhancement experience within ERP environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Knowledge of Demand Planning and Forecasting solutions.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of Demand Management, BOM Management, and Item Revision processes.
• Experience with EDI integrations, supplier and customer portals, and order management.
• Exposure to financial reporting, inventory management, and cycle counting.
• Knowledge of OBI concepts and enterprise data integrations.
