Purpose & Scope of The Position:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Human Resources Representative to support and enhance our Human Resources (HR) operations, employee relations, and organizational culture. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality HR services, serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in employee relations, workplace investigations, policy administration, and compliance with employment laws. This position manages complex HR matters, ensures fair and consistent application of policies, and supports the organization's commitment to a respectful, safe, and legally compliant work environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Support leadership to recommend appropriate corrective actions and prevention strategies.
  • Identify trends and root causes to help develop proactive HR initiatives, training, and policy improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership on initiatives related to retention, engagement, and workforce development.
  • Support leadership initiatives that drive culture improvements.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and leave administration processes.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Support the annual benefit budgeting process and business reporting.
  • Support the administration of the Drug and Alcohol program.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management or similar discipline and 8 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 6 plus years of experience.
    • Experience with JDE HR or other HR/Payroll systems.
    • Strong understanding of employment laws, investigation best practices, and workplace ethics.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, NLRA, etc.).
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications:
    • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
    • Certification Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefit Professional (CBP).

Technical Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal, written and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong data analysis, presentation and data integrity skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervisions.
  • Ability to establish rapport with people at all levels of an organization.

Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • N/A

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to meet the required physical demands, exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
