Job Title: Senior Human Resources GeneralistJob Description
The Senior Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in aligning HR practices with business goals and key performance indicators. This position designs and recommends HR policies and procedures, drives improvements in business objectives, and provides comprehensive support across training and development, employee engagement and retention, employee relations, and overall employee services. The role requires a hands-on, data-driven professional who can support a manufacturing or production environment and partner effectively with leaders and employees across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Understand business goals and key performance indicators and translate them into effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continuous improvement in HR programs and business outcomes.
  • Drive improvements in business objectives through proactive HR support, data analysis, and effective workforce planning.
  • Lead and coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage employee relations activities, including coaching, conflict resolution, and issue investigation, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Oversee overall employee services, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional support for employees at all levels.
  • Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure a strong pipeline of talent for a manufacturing or production environment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel analytics and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
