Job Details The Regional Senior Human Resources Director, Americas serves as the strategic HR leader for World Courier across North and Latin America. This role partners closely with regional and global business leaders to develop and execute talent, workforce, and organizational strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
As a trusted advisor to senior partners, the Regional Senior HR Director provides leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, culture, change management, and leadership development. The role works collaboratively with World Courier Operations leaders to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the region.
This position plays a critical role in shaping organizational effectiveness, enhancing the associate experience, and building a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports World Courier's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional people strategies that align talent, culture, and organizational capabilities with business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel on talent, workforce, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
- Lead workforce planning, succession management, leadership development, and talent strategies to build organizational capability and drive business performance.
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement organizational structures, transformation initiatives, and workforce solutions that support growth and operational excellence.
- Leverage workforce analytics, business insights, and HR metrics to inform decision-making, identify risks, and drive strategic outcomes.
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture through employee engagement, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent, learning, total rewards, and HR operational solutions across the region.
- Ensure the effective execution of enterprise HR programs, including performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop HR talent while strengthening leadership capability throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies while proactively managing workforce-related risks.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Master's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in human resources, human resource business partnering, workforce planning, talent operations, people governance, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of experience in a people management capacity required.
- Certified Professional in Human Resources Management (HRM), Strategic Human Resources Leadership (SHRL), or equivalent certification preferred. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strategic thinking, change management, data-driven decision making, data analysis & modeling, technical learning, innovative & agile mindset, strategic & operational workforce planning
- Ability to develop innovative and agile HR solutions tailored to client group complexities.
- Proven ability to build and lead learning programs focused on technical and leadership development.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance long-term goals and day-to-day operational needs ensuring global initiatives are tailored and effective at local level.
- Strong business acumen.
- Expertise in managing complex, cross-cultural dynamics across global regions.

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
