Full Job Description
Eaton's IS VEH EMB Automotive Mobility division is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $ 115,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. ** This role is located and must report on-site at our Carol Stream , IL manufacturing site. Relocation assistance is available for a qualified candidate currently residing in the USA . What you'll do: Position Overview: Key focus areas will include maintaining a positive and progressive employee relations environment; technical and manufacturing talent acquisition; college relations and internship program management; new employee on-boarding; manufacturing workforce planning; talent assessment; career and succession planning; individual development planning; performance management; effectively applying our compensation and rewards philosophy; employee communication programs and engagement activities; consistent application of all HR policies and procedures; and employment law compliance. In this role, you will:  Serve as primary full-spectrum generalist HR support for Carol Stream.  Support deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition and development, and work practices to improve the organizational capability of the site.  Own the site data reporting and analyses process; provide suggested actions to the site HRM; monitor the performance of HR key indicators, HR programs and initiatives allowing a data-based decision-making process; ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and regular audits.  Support local recruiting, including interviews and selection; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, laws, and goals  Assist managers and employees with understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance and drive culture including performance management, employee development, succession planning and retention.  Conduct investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; provides summary reports and recommended actions to site HRM and regional HRD; support activities and processes to promote positive employee relations.  Collaborate with HR Services on transactional HR matters. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.  3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist.  Previous experience leading employee relations, training, on-boarding, workforce planning, & performance management initiatives. Preferred Qualifications:  MS degree in Human Resources or related degree.  Five (5) years' experience in human resources  Experience and exposure to various manufacturing environments.  Data analytics experience.  Experience developing and tracking training programs .  Must possess effective and verbal communications skills.  Must possess good organizational and prioritization skills to maintain and address multiple assigned projects and expectations.  Bi-lingual English/Spanish
