The
Sr. Group Manager, Global Integrated Marketing leads brand building and technology adoption through integrated campaigns across the Acute Care & Monitoring Operating Unit. In this player/coach role, you will lead a team of talented marketers while also contributing directly to key initiatives.
You will partner with senior leaders to gain alignment on brand identity, assess brand health, and advance brand-building initiatives. You will also guide your team to collaborate with upstream and downstream marketers to build value proposition canvases, positioning statements, and key messaging guides. In addition, you will lead your team in the development of customer journey maps that inform work with creative and digital partners to create tailored, meaningful content and campaigns that deliver the right message at each stage of the customer journey.
As a leader, you will manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented environment while providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to help team members achieve their career goals and deliver impactful results. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Integrated Marketing, this role spans strategy creation to flawless execution, with an emphasis on building brands and developing integrated marketing programs that drive growth while fostering future marketing leaders.
This position is based in Lafayette, Colorado.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Develops and implements OU-level integrated marketing programs.
- Develops the business case, strategies, budgets, executions, measurement, and ongoing enhancements to meet the company's reputational and growth objectives.
- Leads sponsorship and/or partnership strategies, including concepting, evaluation, creation, and activation efforts.
- Oversees the creation of all types of content to achieve Medtronic's reputational and messaging aims.
- Utilizes omni-channel marketing models incorporating paid, owned, earned, and shared content strategies.
- Develops reputational KPI's, listening tools, and the strategies for tracking and measuring program impact on reputation on a corporate, regional or global basis.
- Leverages insights to strengthen programs and build new strategies.
- Builds and maintains stakeholder contact programs and databases to directly connect and share MDT's point of view and insight to the right audiences.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (integrated marketing, marketing communications or agency experience) with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Position is based in Lafayette, Colorado
Nice to Have - Experience in developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns and compelling multi-media content.
- Strong program management skills and adept at leading cross functional teams at a global level
- Strong editorial skills in English
- Healthcare industry and/or medical device experience preferably in med-surgical space
- Ability to self-navigate in a complex, matrixed environment across business units and with sales organizations and engage stakeholders accordingly
- Strong analytical skills with ability to build businesses cases to secure funding
- Knowledge of WorkFront or similar project management system
- Knowledge of Veeva Promomats or similar regulated approval system
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. a7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$159,200.00 - $238,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
