Position Summary
The Senior Group Director, Client Advice Management serves as a senior strategic leader across a portfolio of complex client businesses, partnering with integrated teams across Communications Design, Partnerships, Analytics, Strategy, and Activation disciplines.

While this role sits within Client Advice & Management, the ideal candidate brings strong expertise in performance media with a solid understanding of channels such as paid social, programmatic display and video, CTV, paid search, content syndication, digital direct and emerging digital media solutions. This individual should be comfortable leading strategic conversations across channels, disciplines, and specialty teams while helping clients connect marketing investments to measurable business outcomes. Success in this role requires the ability to connect and synthesize expertise from across the agency, challenge conventional thinking and identify opportunities that drive growth beyond the immediate brief. This individual can translate complex business challenges into actionable media and communications strategies that improve performance across the customer journey, from awareness and engagement through lead generation, pipeline creation, customer acquisition and retention

This individual serves as a senior strategic advisor to clients and internal teams, helping shape business and marketing strategies, uncover growth opportunities, and drive integrated solutions grounded in data, insights and performance measurement. The role is focused on strategic leadership, consultation, integrated media thinking and business stewardship rather than day-to-day account management.

The ideal candidate combines strong performance media expertise , commercial acumen, executive presence, and team leadership skills to help clients navigate increasingly complex marketing challenges while driving business growth for both clients and the agency. This individual is equally comfortable discussing media strategy, audience intelligence and marketing performance with senior client stakeholders and agency leadership. Ultimately this role requires a critical thinker who can connect marketing investments to business results, champion accountability for performance and influence clients and agency teams toward making smarter, data driven decisions that drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Integrated Media Leadership
Lead integrated, cross-channel media and communications strategy, bringing a holistic perspective across disciplines, and ensuring recommendations are aligned to client business objectives and measurable outcomesAlign cross-functional teams and specialty practices around cohesive recommendations and business objectives
Champion testing, learning agendas, measurement frameworks, and innovation opportunities
Identify emerging trends, capabilities, and strategic opportunities that create value for clients
Connect media investment, audience and targeting strategies and performance results to broader business outcomes including awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition and marketing effectiveness.

Strategic Client Leadership
Serve as a senior strategic advisor to client stakeholders
Partner with global and local account, communications and performance leads day to day to identify scalable best practices, share learnings across markets, balance global consistency with regional nuances and shape long-term business and communications/media strategies
Lead executive-level conversations related to marketing effectiveness, media strategy, audience planning, measurement, testing, innovation, and business growth
Identify opportunities that extend beyond the immediate brief and advance client business objectives
Provide proactive consultation and thought leadership across client businesses
Help lead and support annual planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and key strategic presentations
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders

Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

Desired Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in integrated media, communications planning, marketing, advertising, consulting, or related disciplines
6+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong integrated media background spanning multiple digital channels (paid social, programmatic, search, video, partnerships)
Experience leading strategic planning, media strategy, and client consultation engagements
Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations and stakeholder environments
Proven ability to influence senior client stakeholders and executive audiences
Experience developing measurement strategies, testing frameworks, and learning agendas
Strong presentation, writing, and executive communication skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex business challenges, and drive alignment across diverse teams
Performance media experience strongly preferred
B2B marketing experience preferred
