The Global Workplace Experience Director is a senior leader within the Cushman & Wakefield onsite account team, responsible for developing and delivering a world-class Workplace Experience program that enhances employee engagement, strengthens workplace culture, and supports the client's business objectives across a global portfolio.

This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, leveraging industry-leading practices while tailoring programs, services, and experiences to align with the client's culture, workforce needs, and organizational priorities. The Global Workplace Experience Director will establish the overarching Workplace Experience vision, framework, and standards while turning ideas into practical, scalable solutions that can be executed consistently across multiple countries and locations.

This leader will partner with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver workplace experience initiatives across the portfolio. Their focus will be on creating welcoming, engaging, and high-performing environments for employees and visitors.

As a workplace experience subject matter expert for the Client, the Director will bring energy, innovation, influence, and hospitality expertise to inspire teams, elevate service delivery, and continuously optimize the employee experience. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and resourceful leader who works well in a fast-paced environment, brings forward new ideas, and can turn complex challenges into practical solutions that improve the workplace experience and support business goals.
Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Global Workplace Experience Leadership
• Develop and implement the global Workplace Experience vision, associated standards, and operating framework to deliver a consistent, hospitality-driven employee experience across all locations.
• Provide leadership and direction for Workplace Experience teams globally, serving as an escalation point and ensuring local teams have the tools and guidance required to deliver service excellence and operational consistency.
• Establish performance expectations, operating procedures, and service standards that support a frictionless, people-centric workplace experience.
• Serve as a visible and influential culture champion who models the behaviors expected across the account.

Service Delivery Operations
• Oversee Events Team, ensuring service delivery, operational execution, and hospitality standards consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
• Partner with Facilitates Management team to oversee global Lobby Ambassador (Reception) services, ensuring service delivery, operational execution, and hospitality standards consistently meet or exceed expectations.
• Provide strategic oversight of food and beverage vendor partnerships to ensure exceptional service quality and alignment with Client objectives.
• Execute hospitality training programs that reinforce service excellence, professionalism, responsiveness, and a strong customer-first approach.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-touch experiences.

Strategy & Employee Engagement
• Develop and execute workplace engagement experiences that strengthen culture, foster community, and encourage office utilization.
• Partner with client stakeholders to assess workforce needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for new services, amenities, events, and programs.
• Create and maintain a repository of scalable workplace experience initiatives and best practices that can be adapted across locations while maintaining local relevance.
• Research and evaluate emerging workplace trends and leading practices from innovative, high-performing organizations, translating relevant insights into impactful workplace programs and experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Facilities Management, Workplace Strategy, Space & Occupancy Planning, Communications, Events, Food & Beverage providers and other stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that enhance the employee and visitor experience.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing recommendations and strategic guidance on workplace experience enhancements and cultural initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure workplace services operate cohesively and contribute to broader business and employee engagement objectives.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Management
• Establish and monitor Workplace Experience Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), service-level metrics, and customer satisfaction measures.
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and improve the overall employee experience through process improvement and innovation.
• Communicate program vision, priorities, performance, and business impact through compelling storytelling, executive presentations, data insights, and business cases.

Executive & Stakeholder Support
• Deliver a high-touch, "white glove" experience for executives and key stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders while serving as a strategic advocate for Workplace Experience initiatives and investments.

Key Competencies
• Strong understanding of workplace experience, hospitality, and employee engagement trends, particularly within fast-paced, innovative corporate environments and/or technology organizations.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing hospitality-driven workplace programs within large corporate environments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, workplace amenities, and service-provider management.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong leadership presence with proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship-building skills.

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Required Experience
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in workplace experience, hospitality, employee experience, corporate services, hotel operations or similar environments.
• Experience leading multi-site, national, or global programs and teams.
• Proven success partnering with executive stakeholders.
• Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations and managing multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 195,500.00 - $230,000.00
