What You'll DoWe are looking for a strategic, analytical, and growth-minded Senior FP&A Analyst to serve as a critical finance partner to our GTM organizations. In this role, you won't just be managing numbers-you will be a foundational builder of our financial infrastructure during a period of rapid hyper-growth.
As a key member of the FP&A team, you will bridge the gap between financial strategy and execution. You will own the budgeting and forecasting lifecycles for our technical teams, lead headcount planning, and help spearhead the rollout of our next-generation planning tools and AI-driven workflows. This is a high-impact position perfect for a proactive finance professional who loves transforming complex data into strategic decisions, building scalable processes from scratch, and collaborating with cross-functional leadership to drive efficiency and scale.
This role will be responsible for:
- Serving as the Finance Business Partner to Sales, Customer, and Marketing, leading strategic planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Partnering with GTM leadership, Revenue Operations, and the FP&A Manager to align headcount and other resource plans with Horizon3's ARR goals.
- Maintaining and refine the headcount planning process while guiding GTM investment decisions across hiring, programs, vendors, travel, systems, and other operating expenses.
- Analyzing commission expense, rates, and trends; identify key drivers and use those insights to improve forecast accuracy and inform recommendations.
- Preparing clear and actionable reporting packages and analyses for operating reviews and forecast cycles.
- Translating GTM operating metrics and business changes into financial implications for forecasts and recommendations.
- Contributing to improvements in the quality and timeliness of GTM planning models, reporting processes, and infrastructure, including automation, AI-enabled workflows, and planning tool enhancements.
What You'll Bring- 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related analytical experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment and preferably with experience supporting Sales, Customer, Marketing, or other customer-facing organizations.
- Effective stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner across GTM, Accounting, and Finance and explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and monthly reporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve financial models, reporting packages, and planning processes, with strong analytical and modeling skills and the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and builder-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate effectively and confidently in a rapidly changing environment.
- Comfort working with FP&A systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools; proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or a similar planning platform is a plus.
