About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial Relationship Advisor in Wealth and Investment Management as part of Wells Fargo Advisors. In this digital client relationship role, you will support prospective and existing clients from a corporate office environment, helping them access investment guidance, financial solutions, and relationship-based support through Wells Fargo Advisors. Growth Team: 

Supports new investment clients as they begin their relationship with Wells Fargo. Advisors help clients explore investment solutions, open accounts, and determine the best path forward through digital and advisory offerings. 


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the client onboarding journey by assessing each client's goals, financial circumstances, investment knowledge, and advice preferences to recommend appropriate wealth management solutions
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities to increase assets under management, helping clients fund new accounts, expand relationships, and transition clients into advisory solutions that align with their financial objectives.
  • Educate clients and provide guidance on the full spectrum of Wells Fargo Advisors offerings, including self-directed investing, advisor-supported solutions, and professionally managed portfolios, helping clients select the approach best suited to their discovered needs
  • Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships through proactive outreach, ongoing advice, and a high-touch service experience designed to drive retention and asset growth
  • Leverage sales acumen, financial expertise, and client insights to identify opportunities for additional products, services, and planning solutions that enhance client outcomes
  • Navigate regulatory, compliance, and firm policies while delivering recommendations that meet fiduciary and suitability standards
  • Make sound business decisions and resolve client concerns in a timely, professional manner while balancing client needs, risk management, and business objectives
  • Partner closely with peers, leaders, and business partners to achieve individual and team sales goals by providing timely updates, sharing outcomes, and delivering an exceptional client experience that fosters continued referrals


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Client Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • US only: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration

  • Proven ability to conduct consultative client discovery conversations, identify client needs, and recommend appropriate investment, advisory, and managed account solutions.
  • Working knowledge of brokerage, advisory, managed account, retirement, and self-directed investment offerings.
  • Demonstrated success in asset gathering, client retention, relationship expansion, and solution-based sales.
  • Strong ability to build trust, deepen client relationships, and communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Results-oriented sales mindset with experience identifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and helping clients make informed financial decisions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficiency utilizing technology and digital tools to support client engagement, onboarding, and relationship management.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.


Job Expectations:

  • US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process
