Our Newest Opportunity: Summary:The Senior Financial Benefits Consultant position provides technical support to the client teams by monitoring the cost and performance of the client's benefits plans. The position owns the responsibility of monitoring and communicating the financial performance of the employee benefits plans and attends and participates in client presentations. Senior Financial Benefits Consultant may be assigned to multiple OneDigital offices within the region. The Senior Financial Benefits Consultant may provide financial/analytics support to sales teams within the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Participate in sales and key account presentations
- Calculates renewal projections and premium equivalent rates
- Calculates actuarial valuations and aids client teams in benefits design
- Conducts financial analysis of benefits marketings
- Provide financial performance reports, analysis, and recommendations to clients
- Provide financial analyses regarding the cost effectiveness of benefit design options
- Assist in the evaluation of the results of Requests for Proposals for consultants
- Participates in client presentations regarding the cost effectiveness of benefit strategies
- Mentors junior team members
- Drafts and reviews accurate exhibits for quarterly and annual client meetings
- May assist the Benefits Consultant with carrier negotiation process
- Drafts and reviews client utilization reports using various carrier reporting methods
- Analyzes data and identifies opportunities for plan design and product changes, based upon observed utilization patterns
- Drafts and reviews monthly reporting deliverables for clients
- Drafts and reviews cost projections for benefit plan offerings
- Analyzes industry benchmarks and drafts information for the client to show their competitiveness in the industry.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with carrier partners
- Maintains accurate, current, organized, and complete market information in internal databases
- Assists team and clients as necessary with special projects

Education, Training and Experience: - A Bachelor degree with strong mathematics background such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, required
- Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, required
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, required
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferred
- Life & Health License, required
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
