Job Description: The
Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in transforming financial data into meaningful business insights. This role will leverage financial analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools to improve visibility into business performance, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making. Experience within a manufacturing environment and advanced Power BI expertise are highly valued.
What You'll Do - Analyze & Advise: Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and key business drivers, and communicate findings and recommendations to management. Provide ad hoc analysis to support organizational growth and profitability initiatives.
- Build & Enhance: Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, KPI dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
- Improve & Automate: Drive continuous improvement of financial and operational reporting processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, data accuracy, and reducing manual spreadsheet-driven activities.
- Support Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes while creating and maintaining financial models to support business initiatives, capital investments, and strategic planning.
- Strengthen Reporting: Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to improve monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting capabilities. Support month-end close activities through reporting, analysis, and management presentations.
- Collaborate & Connect: Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and cross-functional business leaders to improve data integrity, reporting infrastructure, and business performance.
- Standardization & Empower: Identify opportunities to standardize reporting processes and build a data-driven culture by training and supporting end users on reporting tools and analytics.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- MBA, CMA, or CPA designation is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
- Demonstrated success developing financial reporting and analytical tools that improve business performance.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders.
- Advanced Power BI expertise is required.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and data reporting tools.
Desired Skills - Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, DAX, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
