Senior Financial Analyst V Job Code:2026-ETA-044 Location:Lexington, KY Division:PPPO DOE Contract Duration:Direct Hire ETAS Inc. has upcoming opportunity for Senior Financial Analyst (Direct Hire) positions at our offices in Lexington, KY. Develop and maintain financial and analytical models to support program planning and execution Analyze budgets, forecasts, and funding data to support decision-making Track funding against actuals and projections; identify variances and trends Support financial period-end tracking and reconciliation activities Support reviews using financial and program data from multiple sources Develop "what-if" scenarios for funding and scope changes Support budget formulation and reporting activities Prepare analysis, dashboards, and briefings for stakeholders Use Excel, Power BI, and financial systems to manage models and reporting Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited university or fifteen years of relevant experience Ten years' experience in financial management or federal budgetary environment or equivalent Five plus years of Experience in financial analysis, modeling, or budgeting Experience with budgets, forecasts, accruals , and funding data Knowledge of budget and funding processes Strong Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI experience a plus Experience in budget and cost modeling Knowledge of Congressional budget process Experience in developing "what if" scenarios Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with database management Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel Knowledge of financial accounting systems (for example, OneStream or Oracle based like systems) Experience with Power BI, Cobra or Tableau Executive level experience in managing large and diverse financial and budgetary programs with multi-appropriations in a multi-contract environment Experience in interpreting and implementing budgetary policies and procedures Experience of providing expert advice to senior management DOE experience Direct Hire This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance.
