Our Senior Financial Analyst is a core member of a tight-knit FP&A team, reporting to the Associate Manager, FP&A with direct exposure to the VP of FP&A and CFO on board materials, operating reviews, and strategic planning. You'll own a high-impact territory across COGS, Product & Engineering, Facilities, IT, & Information Security - leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, owning monthly variance analysis, and identifying the process improvements that scale with us. It's a role built for someone who wants the next step on the ladder: strong performers here grow into finance leadership.
What you'll do:
- Drive the financial story behind a high-impact FP&A territory - including COGS, Product & Engineering, IT, Information Security, & Facilities - owning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analysis end-to-end
- Sit at the table with business leaders, translating their priorities into financial plans and pushing back where the numbers tell a different story
- Build the models that drive real decisions - driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis, ROI cases, and resource plans that shape where the company invests next
- Turn variance into action - connect actuals vs. budget into clear recommendations that change how the business operates, not just how it reports
- Move at the speed of the business during forecast, budget, and close cycles - Planful, NetSuite, and Excel are your toolkit for delivering answers with pace, urgency, and accuracy
- Get in front of senior leadership - author the financial narratives, risk/opportunity callouts, and operating review materials that the CFO and FP&A leadership take into board and executive forums
- Own CapEx strategy for R&D and technology investments - project-level analysis, forecast updates, and the cross-functional alignment that keeps spend tied to outcomes
- Upgrade the FP&A function itself - sharpen models, modernize reporting tools, and bring structure to a fast-moving environment where your improvements stick
What you'll bring:
- A BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM field
- 5+ years in FP&A, accounting, or a similarly analytical finance role - bonus points for SaaS, software, and/or PE-backed environments
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills; experience with NetSuite, Planful, or similar planning / ERP tools is a plus
- Insatiable curiosity about the business behind the numbers, and the judgment to know which variances matter
- High ownership and pace - you prioritize ruthlessly, move work forward without being asked, and deliver with precision under tight timelines
- Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
- AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
- Fuel performance and outcomes. Leverage your job competencies and champion NAVEX's core values
Our side of the deal:
- We'll be clear, we'll move fast, and we'll invest in your success. You deserve to be supported, challenged, and rewarded for the impact you make-and we commit to doing that every step of the way.
- The starting pay for this role is $95,000 per annum with a 5% MBO. Discover how you can grow, lead, and make an impact by visiting our career page to learn more.
