We are currently seeking a
Senior Financial Analyst in Orlando, Florida. This position will help support the timeshare consolidation organization with financial planning and analysis services which includes long range planning models, annual budgets, quarterly business reviews, monthly re-forecasts, performance analysis and daily support of management decision making. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.
How You'll Shine:- Help consolidate and manage all forecasting and budgeting activities for the timeshare segment and analyze the actual results against forecasts/budget to concisely highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance.
- Assist with the presentations for monthly and quarterly results, the quarterly business reviews, annual budget review and long-range plan review for senior management
- Perform consolidated financial statement research and analysis, including development and preparation of financial management reports. Actively identifying significant trends in operations and presenting to senior management with appropriate recommendations for action on opportunities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate and streamline processes to reduce cycle time and churn in all operations planning processes.
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth consolidation process.
- Assist management with ad hoc assignments.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or closely related field required. MBA is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to source data, recommend conclusions, manage multiple projects, and adhere to strict deadlines while incorporating work style with team objectives
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and creative thinking aptitude
- Actively informs management of sub-optimal practices, including process improvement and automation, wherever observed and takes action to correct issues
- Excellent business acumen with understanding of functional linkages and ability to build strong professional relationships with business partners in both operational and financial roles
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organized and able to perform under stressful situations
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, etc.)
- Experience with managing Oracle Planning (or similar enterprise planning system) is a plus
- Ability to create, maintain and distribute accurate reporting on a systematic efficient basis
- Experience with creating driver based, complicated financial models to support budgets, forecasts and business decision making
- 5+ year's experience with financial analyses and complex model building, preferred
- 4-5 years finance experience in a corporate environment.
- Timeshare industry experience, preferred
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
