Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst - Surgery FP&A - Sales & IR to be located in Raritan, NJ, or Titusville, NJ.

In this high-visibility role, the SFA will drive Global Surgery sales and Investor Relations reporting processes from report development through publication. By synthesizing key business drivers and trends, the analyst will generate commercial insights that inform Global Surgery decisions, Corporate Investor Relations, and the broader Johnson & Johnson investor community. The analyst will also strengthen the Global Surgery operating model by fostering cross-functional alignment and advancing process improvement and standardization across forecast and close cycles.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales Reporting and Insights: Manage and complete all sales deliverables accurately and on time, including monthly actuals and forecast reporting (e.g., LT, BP, JU, and NU). Lead and facilitate the worldwide sales call by presenting Global Surgery sales results and gathering commentary from regional leaders. Maintain digital dashboards (e.g., MAVEN Tableau and SCA) to reflect evolving business needs, collaborate with Platform, Regional, and Group Finance teams, and update reports and analyses for new products and the latest forecast.
  • Investor Relations Reporting: Partner with J&J Investor Relations to prepare quarterly results and commentary by gathering input from key stakeholders and ensuring charts contain complete, accurate data. Analyze and synthesize key trends and performance drivers to deliver clear, insightful commentary.
  • Data Mapping and Hierarchy Management: Lead annual Surgery data-mapping initiatives, including SKU-to-Minor mapping and the BRAVO hierarchy update, to ensure consistency across global hierarchies.
  • Business Partnership and Ad Hoc Analysis: Collaborate with business partners, including Platform GSM, R&D Finance, and related teams, to fulfill ad-hoc sales reporting requests, such as NPI analyses, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Systems Enablement and Accountability: Apply expertise in AFO, SCA, and BRAVO to enable new ways of working and strengthen organizational accountability.
  • Reporting Automation and Visualization: Leverage Tableau, Alteryx, and SCA to enhance report automation and data visualization, enabling more agile business decision-making.
  • Business Insights and Forecast Consolidation: Prepare and lead the consolidation of business insights and financial forecasts for Surgery leadership teams, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • MedTech Finance Initiatives: Support ad-hoc MedTech Finance initiatives, including gross profit analytics optimization, SigniFi and digital tool adoption, and reporting standardization across business units.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Investor Relations Reporting: Lead the Investor Relations reporting process for Global Surgery.
  • Sales Reporting: Complete all monthly close sales reporting and forecast responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Leadership Presentations: Lead the preparation of leadership presentations that communicate business performance insights and the financial outlook.
  • Reporting Automation: Automate reports by adopting new digital tools where appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Master's/MBA degree preferred. A CPA, CMA or other financial certifications are preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required
  • Knowledge of MedTech business is preferred
  • TM1, SAP Central Finance & S4HANA, PowerBI, Tableau, BRAVO and systems ERP experience is preferred.
  • A clear thinker who has experience operating in a highly complex environment, synthesizing various inputs into clear and easy-to-understand summaries and to effectively manage multiple deliverables simultaneously is required.
  • A strong communicator with appropriate framing presentation skills along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills is required.
  • Ability to work independently and in partnership with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including senior management is required.
  • This position is located in Raritan, NJ, or Titusville, NJ and may require up to 5% domestic travel.
