Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst - Spine US Commercial to be located in Raynham, MA with consideration in West Chester, PA; Warsaw, IN or Raritan, NJ.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Finance Group will support DePuy Synthes (DPS) US Commercial and Innovation in development, assessment and profitability analysis of various internal and external opportunities, including licensing and distribution opportunities, various strategic initiatives, expense management and sales & financial reporting.

The Finance Group will work very closely with the business in the development and delivery of financial analytics and support of critical business strategies and decision making. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead business partners through all critical forecasting cycles and evaluate internal and external risks and market drivers.
  • Play a critical role in developing the annual revenue and GP plan, completing necessary forecast updates with business partners ensuring the reliability of the information and its timely submission.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and support high visibility projects as needed.
  • Provide meaningful insights by challenging business assumptions, developing alternative scenarios and educating business partners on financial issues and concepts.
  • Additional areas of focus include: monthly sales reporting to senior management, Investor Relations analysis, price/volume/mix analysis, gross to net, revenue SOX compliance, month end/quarter close activities.
  • Demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving the value of the financial information supplied to upper management and providing guidance to business partners.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A CPA, MBA or CMA is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of finance experience is required; equivalent knowledge of skills necessary to perform the position responsibilities preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • Have a collaborative style and be able to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with various levels of management and external customers is also required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
  • This position is located in Raynham, MA, with consideration in West Chester, PA; Warsaw, IN; Cincinnati, OH; or Raritan, NJ. This role may require up to 10% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
