Location: Pittston, PA (Hybrid role - 2x per week onsite)

Position Summary:

Financial Analysts are business partners that empower business leaders to make operational and strategic decisions through a critical lens. By collaborating with business leaders, the financial analysts make information accessible and monitors performance against aligned business objectives. Financial analysts utilize strong analytical skills & tools to communicate the business implications of decisions and provide input into the decision making process.

  • Business Partner to the organization ensuring that business objectives are measurable, accessible, and aligned with company targets.
  • Review financial performance with variance analysis, understanding of relevant costs, and apply suitable analytical techniques (i.e. time series analysis/correlations) and communicating insights to the business.
  • Build financial models/plans with an understanding of key business drivers.
  • Consistently collaborates with colleagues and management through independent analysis that could support or challenge assumptions based on evidence.
  • Designs presentations with a clear narrative with an understanding of visualization technique (PowerPoint, Excel, Qlik Sense); presents findings comfortably to a small group.
  • Able to explain the interdependencies of functional areas, provide critical assessment of operational initiatives (e.g. identify risks and opportunities).
  • Support business leaders with decisions that multiple potential solutions/outcomes; articulate the consequences/risks of the options with logical reasoning.
  • Proactively seeks feedback from the management, peers and other business partners.
  • Work with data by modifying variables in SQL and writing SQL queries that utilizes multiple tables.
