MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Senior Financial Analyst, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in FP&A support of the Federal Civilian and Federal Health divisions.
• Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
• Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business reviews to provide insight into business.
• Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.
• Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.
• Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.
• Act as focal point for communication of financials.
• Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the management team.
• May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure subsidiary readiness for year-end audit.
• Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.
• Manage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up information.
• Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management.
• Monitor and assess financial impact changes of Indirect rates, rate pools, and allocations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
• May serve as a team or task lead.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your FP&A expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Financial Analyst must have:
• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and/or modeling
• Experience w/ executive level financial reporting
• Technical skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Oracle and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE)
- Hyperion and Smartview
• Location: Hybrid work schedule with the expectation of working three (3) days in Falls Church, VA office
• US Person
The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $108,043. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
