Senior Financial Analyst
Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance professional to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the organization. In this role, you will drive financial insights, influence strategic decision-making, and lead initiatives that improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance financial reporting.

You will work cross-functionally and cross-divisionally to solve complex financial challenges, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning. This position offers strong visibility and the opportunity to shape financial strategy while leading continuous improvement and transformation efforts.




What You’ll Do
Strategic Advisory & Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders, providing insights that support strategic decisions and performance goals
  • Partner with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to address complex financial challenges and opportunities
  • Translate financial results into clear, actionable recommendations for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Financial Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Lead financial reporting and variance analysis, delivering clear insights into performance trends
  • Prepare and review forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, including SG&A and operational spending
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables
  • Provide analysis on key metrics and financial performance drivers to inform decision-making
Accounting Expertise & Compliance
  • Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. GAAP and enterprise-wide accounting practices
  • Research, document, and resolve complex technical accounting issues
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on audit and reporting requirements
Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and partner with business leaders to implement strategies
  • Drive financial process improvements, automation, and best practices across the organization
Projects & Leadership
  • Lead financial problem-solving efforts and support strategic, cross-functional projects
  • Collaborate with cost center leaders on budgeting, performance tracking, and accountability
  • Contribute to enterprise initiatives that impact financial operations and reporting



What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience researching and documenting technical accounting issues
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to operate independently, think strategically, and solve complex problems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related disciplines
  • Public accounting experience (3+ years preferred)
  • CPA, MBA, or progress toward certification
  • Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, or operational finance
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities (ROI, IRR, NPV, payback analysis)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, initiatives, or cross-functional projects
