Job OverviewA successful candidate will have experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or systems such as quickbase, Salesforce Lightning or equivalent system. The O&M Analyst / Planner is responsible for maintaining work orders, transacting parts, managing scheduling workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement of FSM functionality and data integrity. The O&M Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for our Field Service Management system, playing a key role in future tool optimization.
What you'll doField Service Management (FSM) & Data Governance- Ensure Data Quality and Accuracy: Systematically audit and maintain high-fidelity data across all O&M management, inventory, and CMMS/ERP platforms
- Standardize Work Order Lifecycle: Define and enforce standardization metrics from creation to closure, ensuring compliance and data integrity across all field service requests
- Lead Process Improvements: Proactively identify bottlenecks in current workflows, recommend system enhancements, and lead implementation initiatives to optimize FSM functionality
- Drive Workflow Standardization: Develop, document, and deploy best practices to streamline operations and drive overall operational excellence across geographically dispersed teams
- User Training & Enablement: Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to train, onboard, and support system users on FSM workflows and ERP/CRM updates
Work Order Scheduling- Strategic Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule planned outages within the FSM, balancing technician availability, client SLAs, and operational priorities
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct routine audits of the Work Order system to identify anomalies, resolve errors, and ensure accurate reporting
- Cross-Functional Integration: Seamlessly integrate diverse field requests-including Field Service Requests, Field Engineering Studies, and ad-hoc maintenance demands-into executable, well-scoped Work Orders
Inventory, Parts, & Logistics Management- Execute Parts Transactions: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of parts transactions, including issuing, transacting, and processing returns within the inventory management system
- Workflow Optimization: Standardize O&M parts workflows to minimize discrepancies, reduce lag time, and audit financial/physical transactions for precision
- Logistics & Resource Coordination: Partner closely with supply chain and logistics teams to guarantee that parts, specialized tools, and third-party contractors are aligned and available to support field service execution
Physical Requirements- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment or parts weighing up to 50 lbs as required by operational or inventory needs
What you'll bringMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, operations coordination, maintenance planning, field service, supply chain, or related operational roles
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations and field service organizations
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within distributed energy, power generation, utilities, industrial services, manufacturing, or maintenance operations.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, and work management systems including:
- SAP
- Salesforce
- Salesforce Lightning
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Other CMMS, ERP, or field service management platforms
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or workflow redesign initiatives.
- Familiarity with inventory management and parts transactions.
- Experience developing KPIs, operational dashboards, and reporting tools.
$110,388 - $129,868 a year
This position is
onsite at our
Menlo Park HQ. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base salary, Mainspring offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
